![]() ![]() At the time of writing this article, both cases are cheaper on Amazon than on the TenPoint website. Unfortunately, TenPoint doesn’t supply a case with it, but you can buy one on Amazon or from TenPoint. It’s a very compact bow and you can just hang it on a crossbow stand or put it in a crossbow case. You don’t have to disassemble the Viper S400 to store it. ![]() You’ll only have to install the scope and you’re ready to cock and shoot the crossbow! It’s the perfect scope for the Viper S400! Assembling and Disassembling The RangeMaster Pro offers extremely clear optics, variable magnification from 1.5X to 5X and contrast lines, red or green dots and adjustments can be easily made in the field. The RangeMaster Pro scope is very easy to sight in for 20 to 60-yard shots. This scope has been released by TenPoint 5 years ago and it’s a very good scope! This scope is designed and produced by TenPoint themselves. TenPoint equipped the Viper S400 with a top-of-the-range scope. We were able to hit 372 feet per second with the Evo-X CenterPunch arrows and exactly 400 feet per second with the Pro Lite Carbon arrows. Using a heavier arrow also results in a quieter shot and the arrow will absorb more of the force the crossbow generates, reducing the wear on the limbs and strings. The Evo-X CenterPunch arrows roughly have 135 FP KE and the Pro Lite Carbon arrows 132 FP KE. They’re heavier so they travel a bit slower but have more kinetic energy. I recommend to stick with the Evo-X CenterPunch arrows. You can buy the arrows separately on Amazon. That’s 75 grains less than the Evo-X CenterPunch arrows. In order to actually achieve the 400 feet per second, you’ll have to order Pro Lite Carbon Arrows from TenPoint. These arrows come in at 445 grains and the Viper S400 will only manage to shoot the arrows at 370 feet per second. When looking closer at all the features, you’ll notice TenPoint supplies three Evo-X CenterPunch premium carbon arrows. TenPoint says the Viper S400 can shoot arrows at up to 400 feet per second. This crossbow feels really well balanced, is easy to handle and easy to maneuver with in tight spaces. It’s not a very lightweight crossbow, but it’s not heavy either. The Viper S400 weighs 7.5 pounds without accessories. But the TenPoint Viper S400 only has a power stroke of 11 inches! The TenPoint Turbo M1 is also a very good forward-draw crossbow from TenPoint, but around $600 cheaper than the Viper S400. The TenPoint Viper S400 is slightly shorter than the TenPoint Turbo M1 that measures 32.5 inches in length. The TenPoint Viper S400 comes in at 32 inches in length, 11 inches wide when uncocked and 7.2 inches wide when cocked. TenPoint says it’s their shortest forward-draw crossbow ever. Let us dive in just a little deeper and unpack a few of the new technology which makes this bow extremely amazing! The Viper S400 is looking to be an incredibly good bow to have for 2020 and beyond. ![]() We really loved the Vapor RS470 and already wrote a review about it. TenPoint released three new crossbows for 2020. All of TenPoint’s engineering and manufacturing is done in Mogadore, Ohio. They’re producing high quality, super-fast and accurate crossbows. TenPoint is an American brand that’s been selling crossbows for over 27 years. Like most TenPoint crossbows, the Viper S400 also comes with the ACUSlide cocking and decocking system. ![]() The TenPoint Viper S400 comes equipped with a 2-stage zero creep S1 trigger, Micro-Trac barrel, RangeMaster Pro Scope and Tec-X stock. We recommend covering the front and sides of the probe with at least 2 layers of this tape. This tape is used to help insulate the Z probe from radiative heat from the the hotend. ![]() Our kit comes with a small strip of fiber glass tape. We recommend connecting the end with the label to the controller and the end without the label to the XY endstop PCB. The XY endstop cable has the same 4pin JST-XH connector on both ends but only one end has a label. The mounting of the PCB uses the M2 self-tapping screws using the screw hole on the microswitch rather than 4 screws of the bottom in the assembly manual. The Z-endstop mounts to the extrusion using M3x25 SHCS rather than the M3x20 SHCS in the assembly manual. Our Z-endstop is slightly different from the official endstop, use our printed part. Note: The probe 24v pin is not configurable using jumpers on the MCU. For the Klicky probe the 24v probe pin will not be used. The LDO toolhead PCB is for Clockwork 1 extruder with either the Afterburner or Stealthburner toolheads. Refer to the photos in the later chapters to check the final orientation. The motor should be installed in a way so that the connector faces outwards towards the skirts. This will free up a small amount of space and prevent any interference with the other components in the electronic compartment. In our guide, the orientation of the Z stepper motors are slightly different from the official manual. ¶ Above Deck Wiring ¶ Z Stepper Orientation You may choose to cut them or leave them as is during wiring. Toolhead PCB cable ( Remove the zipties before installation into the cable chain, you will want to add back zipties at the cable chain ends where there is no movement.)Ĭertain stepper motor cables are purposely left longer than needed for people with different setups.Heatpad, joined with thermal fuse and installed on bed. ![]() The following items should have pre-cut lengths, labels, and crimped connectors: Multimeter (not included in kit), Used to check connectivity. ![]()
![]() ![]() Some stages were pretty simple but others really mixed things up like Super Mario World stage where I had to entire rooms with items I chose which I thought would be the best route towards a door key. The story mode alone is a masterfully crafted adventure. It was also great seeing Super Mario 3D World come to life in a 2D platforming way ![]() Sure, every stage pays out a specific amount of gold coins but when you are short five to rebuild the cannons, you will hate your life. The worst part, when you die you lose half of them giving you this weighing stress during those tough stages. This also keeps you going back for more and making sure that you collect every single coin you can because they all really matter this time around. Some of it is costly while other parts require a few hundred coins. Each section costs a bit fo coins and has a specific amount of stage completions needed to rebuild it successfully. These coins are used to rebuild the castle thanks to the help of the Toad builders. All these mechanics have been refreshingly-implemented into the gameĮvery Story Mode stage is about one thing and one thing only going in and getting as many coins as you can, completing the level alive and bringing them back to the castle. You can still climb up walls and trees and claw enemies. The soundtrack is superb and the items available like the Cat Mario Suit and Cat Bowser are all given a fresh spin now that the game is 2D. It was also great seeing Super Mario 3D World come to life in a 2D platforming way. This sense of discovery kept me going even during the toughest of stages, mainly all Boo related. With the themes being so diverse, you never know what stage you are going into, what soundtrack you will hum to and what controller scheme you need to prepare for. U and Super Mario 3D world (in a 2D game style). 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. ![]() It also helps that Super Mario Maker 2 is set across various Mario themes including the classic Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. ![]() The sheer variety on offer is magical and the attention to detail in every stage to deliver an experience so “outside” of the traditional Mario platforming game while still making it feel like a Super Mario is where the game shines. The close-to-100 levels all deliver some crazy platforming moments be it flying through a lava cave in a Flotilla like an R-Type game, shooting blocks and waves of flying Goombas or speeding through a timed stage within 10 seconds while making every jump perfectly to avoid your doom. The magic here is Mario’s great level design, seen in countless other games, comes to Super Mario Maker 2 in new and refreshing ways. You take on “jobs” which are bite-sized stages built just for the game using the game’s fantastic building system. The main objective sees you rebuild the Mario kingdom castles which have been destroyed. We have the Story Mode which is a masterpiece in game design. Super Mario Maker 2 is divided into a handful of modes that all deliver the game’s core feature – custom Super Mario stages in some way, shape or form. In some ways, the game feels like an entirely new experience and in others, a huge improvement across the board. The original Super Mario Maker was a jewel on the Nintendo Wii U but it had a lot of problems of which Super Mario Maker 2 has set out to fix. ![]() ![]() Because different modalities were associated with different brain volumes, our findings also suggest that the modalities may involve unique neural circuits, but with a partial overlap between SC and SUR. These preliminary findings suggest that SC and SUR may be characteristic of ADHD while SOR may be driven by co-occurring anxiety. ![]() In individuals with ADHD, both SC and SUR were positively associated with amygdalar volume, SUR was also positively associated with striatal volume, whereas SOR was negatively associated with posterior ventral diencephalon volume. Although sensory over-responsivity (SOR) was marginally higher, this was no longer true when accounting for co-occurring anxiety. Relative to HCs, subjects with ADHD scored higher on sensory craving (SC) and sensory under-responsivity (SUR) subscales. We administered part of the Sensory Processing 3-Dimensions Scale (SP3D) to assess subtypes of SMD and collected structural imaging scans from 25 adults with ADHD and 29 healthy controls (HCs). In this pilot study, we assessed a subtype of SPD, sensory modulation disorder (SMD), and its relation to select brain volumes in adults with ADHD. ![]() Most studies examining comorbid SPD-ADHD have been conducted with children and have not explored relations to brain volumes. Compared to healthy controls (HCs), individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) exhibit more symptoms of sensory processing disorder (SPD), which is associated with difficulties in educational and social activities. ![]() ![]() ![]() In patients with PICA aneurysms with favorable geometry, selective coiling was the preferred treatment. Indication for and type of endovascular treatment was a joint decision between interventional neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons in patients presenting with acute or delayed SAH both in a delayed time course or with unruptured aneurysms. Of 10 unruptured aneurysms, 2 were incidentally found on imaging unrelated to presenting symptoms, 4 were additional to another ruptured aneurysm, and 4 presented with symptoms of mass effect on the medulla, causing palsies of cranial nerves V, VI, or VII ( Fig 1). ![]() Patient and treatment characteristics of 37 ruptured PICA aneurysms (79%) are summarized in on-line Table 1 and of 10 unruptured PICA aneurysms (21%), in on-line Table 2. ![]() The present study group consists of 47 (proximal) PICA aneurysms in 46 patients treated with endovascular techniques. Of 55 PICA aneurysms that were treated endovascularly, 8 aneurysms in 7 patients were located distally on the PICA, and these aneurysms were excluded from analysis. Since the beginning of the study period, endovascular treatment was the therapy of choice for posterior circulation aneurysms and only 7 of 334 posterior circulation aneurysms were treated surgically, 5 of which were located on the PICA. Incidence of PICA aneurysms was 2.8% (60 of 2169) of all treated aneurysms and 18% (60 of 334) of posterior circulation aneurysms. Sixty aneurysms in 58 patients were located on the PICA. 9– 12 In this study, we report our experience with endovascular treatment of 47 proximal PICA aneurysms in 46 patients.īetween January 1995 and March 2007, 2169 aneurysms were treated in our institution, 940 surgically and 1229 endovascularly. 1– 8 Although endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms is increasingly used as an alternative to surgery, endovascular results of PICA aneurysms are not well established. Surgery for these aneurysms is challenging due to the deep location and intimate relation with the medulla and cranial nerves IX, X, and XI. Although this was effective in alleviation of symptoms of mass effect, it was not effective in causing thrombosis of the aneurysm.Īneurysms of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) are rare. In other instances, treatment required occlusion of the VA. In some instances, endovascular treatment required occlusion of the parent PICA usually this was well tolerated. Symptoms of mass effect resolved in all 4 patients.ĬONCLUSION: In our experience, PICA aneurysms were challenging lesions, prone to procedural rupture. No hemorrhage occurred during 109 patient-years of follow-up. Outcome at 6 months in 38 surviving patients was good in 35 and moderate in 3. Combined mortality and morbidity was 8.6% (4 of 46). One patient developed lateral medullary and cerebellar infarctions after PICA occlusion. Procedural rupture occurred in 9 aneurysms leading to death in 2 patients and to permanent disability in 1 patient. RESULTS: Four aneurysms treated with proximal VA occlusion were not occluded. Forty-three aneurysms were occluded with coils (6 including the PICA origin), and 4 were treated with proximal vertebral artery (VA) occlusion. Mean aneurysm size was 6.8 mm (median, 6 mm range, 2–32 mm). Four patients presented with lower cranial nerve palsies. Forty-seven proximal PICA aneurysms in 46 patients were treated with endovascular techniques, 37 ruptured (79%) and 10 unruptured (21%). MATERIALS AND METHODS: Of 2169 aneurysms treated between January 1995 and March 2007, 60 were located on the PICA (incidence, 2.8%). The purpose of this study was to report incidence, clinical presentation, and outcome of endovascular treatment in 46 patients with 47 posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) aneurysms. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Results of endovascular treatment of PICA aneurysms are not well established. ![]() ![]() ![]() The company’s singular purpose is to enable clinicians, through advanced technologies, to improve patient outcomes while lowering total costs of healthcare delivery. Still there was no method of notating the length of a note. He also came up with what we now call the tonic sol-fa system, used by singers, in which notes are named by their position in the scale, as opposed to being named after letters of the alphabet (a practice derived from the ancient Greeks). Guido d’Arezzo, a Benedictine monk whose life as a teacher and musical theorist usefully coincided with the Church’s need for musical unification, is generally credited with the introduction of a stave of horizontal lines by which one could accurately record the pitch of notes. (The Gregorian chant melodies sung today date from after the death of Pope Gregory in 604 AD.) Without any accepted written system to denote the pitch or length of a note, the scoring of music was inevitably a haphazard affair. This early Christian music, derived from Greek songs and from the chanting used in synagogues, had evolved into what we now call plainsong, plainchant or Gregorian chant, the traditional music of the Western Church – a single melodic line, usually sung without accompaniment. ![]() It was around that date when the idea first occurred of combining several voices to sing a melody it was the time, too, when the Church, for so long the most important influence and inspiration on the development of music, recognised a need to standardise the single-line unaccompanied chants that had been used for centuries in sacred ceremonies. 1000 AD merely provides a convenient starting point for the birth of modern Western music. Johann Sebastian Bach The birth of classical musicįixing a date for ‘the beginning of classical music’ is as elusive as pin-pointing the millennium in which dinosaurs became extinct. ![]() ![]() ![]() When it comes to gifts for your best girls, you want to give them something special but also keep it affordable. My only "complaint" is that they change their product mix frequently, and on several occasions, I have not been able to reorder beads that I really loved.Today I’m excited to bring you a simple and affordable DIY project that I decided to create a video for! I recently teamed up with Fire Mountain Gems to create this fun tutorial project because they are the sponsors for my fabulous booth at the next Your Wedding Experience with David Tutera show in Fort Lauderdale! I can’t wait to create this project with all the fun brides and bridesmaids who come to the show this fall! Once you have search results, you can filter by (depending on the item) stringing length, brand, material, bead shape, finish, etc. ![]() You can search with key words or select categories. The website isn't perfect, but it has the best sort and filter functionality I have seen on a bead site. I avoid their mystery bags for the same reason. I generally stay away from their bead mixes, as they tend to combine genuine stones with imitation, which would be "off-brand" for my business. They have a nice assortment of Cloisonné beads as well, although their selection of silver-trimmed ones (as opposed to gold-trimmed) is very limited. I bought a large number of 9mm white freshwater pearls on sale, and they were stunning! I regularly buy seed beads, pearls, semi-precious stones, sterling silver, clasps and findings from them, as well as Fireline. Overall, I have been very happy with their quality. They also have frequent, excellent sales. I have saved over $200 on my total order by spending that extra $30. If I only have 70 items, I just find $1 items and buy enough to get the 100+discount. I always worry about ordering from China. She just meant that they are happy to accommodate customers who make an honest mistake, but they do monitor for customers who try to game the system.)Īt the highest discount level, their prices are generally much better then I can find elsewhere, particularly in North America. (This exchange was polite and cheerful - it is hard to convey nuance in writing, and I don't want anyone to think she was snarky. They said they would still honour the discount, as long as I didn't make a habit of ordering 100 items, then returning several, just to get the discount. I asked if there would be a problem with pricing, since I had just qualified for the highest discount (100+items). No problem, they said, just send them back. I though I was ordering single clasps, but the item was actually 5, so I ended up with 30 instead of 6. The second time, I had ordered toggle clasps. Sending the return was easy, although I did have to pay for shipping. They looked good on the site, but I found them very cheap looking when I got them. I have had to return items twice: once, I sent back acrylic beads. I probably buy 65-75% of my materials from them. It is important to me to have trustworthy sources of high quality beads and findings, so that I can keep my prices up, but I also need good pricing, to actually make a little money. I have been beading, mostly bead weaving, for 4 years, and I recently launched a small, custom-made jewelry business. I have placed 5-6 orders with FMG over the past 3 years, and I have never had a problem with them that they didn't fix, quickly and cheerfully. I am astounded by some of the negative reviews on this site. I am disgusted with the priorities of this company and will not give them my business again. They were most concerned with proving me wrong, and them right which was infuriating. This person and her supervisor had met together and figured out that I was the one with the problem, not them, although I was not sent what I had ordered. When I asked what they could do to fix my order and make me happy, they offered nothing except that I could try again. The whole time I did not feel valued as a customer. I was told that I would, but I could jump through the hoops again if I wanted to. I said I had ordered what I want, but didn't get it, and saw no point in ordering it again if I were going to get brown again. Still, this was not their fault, and if I would scroll down farther, perhaps I would find what I want?!? Or, I could return the brown beads and try again. I sent in pictures and and pointed out that the 2 items have different numbers. When I contacted customer service, I was eventually told that the customer service person had discussed this with her supervisor and felt that this was due to normal color variations. I received brown fire crackle beads with brown mentioned in the title description. I ordered fire crackle beads shown as red agate. ![]() ![]() The intricate, multi-paper origami sculptures will put your paper folding skills on a whole new level and are excellent for use in the classroom, for art, math or geometry investigations.Īll disc content is alternatively accessible on /downloadable-content.
